Palace on Wheels Tariff

1. 1. Add 5% GST Extra on Above Cost
   2. 10% additional shall be charged on the trips having Christmas (25th December 2023) and New Year (01st January 2024).
   3. Tariff for the children aging 5 years and above but less than 12 years shall be charged@ 75%.
   4. Tariff for the children aging upto 5 years will be charged@ 15%.
   5. Operator, under information to RTDC reserves the right to revise the tariff at any time without any prior intimation.

   7 Nights /Eight Days Palace On Wheels Train Tour Includes :

   • Overnight travel & stay in luxury train with AC Sleeping chambers having private attached bathroom
   • Pre-paid group excursions & sightseeing tours in AC buses with English speaking Guide & monument entrance fees.
   • Bed Tea/Coffee Service ; Daily 3 meals (viz. breakfast, lunch & dinner)& bottled drinking water.
   • Entrance & Camera fee at Monuments & Wild Life Reserves
   • Jungle Excursion in Ranthambhore Tiger Reserve by 15 seater open to air Canters.
   • Elephant joy ride in Jaipur; Sound & Light Show at Chittor Fort; Boat joy ride in Udaipur; Camel Joy ride at Sam sand dunes ;Cultural Program with dinner in Jaisalmer; Cycle Rickshaw ride in Bharatpur Bird sanctuary & Visit to Taj Mahal.
   • Complimentary use of sharing dongle wi-fi connectivity
   • Complimentary Use of Mini-Gymnasium Facility

   Extra Costs (not included in train tour) :

   • Consumption of alcoholic & non alcoholic beverages
   • Video camera fees at monuments & wild-life reserves
   • Laundry; Use of Spa facilities; tips & gratuity; porter fees; tour insurance & all other expenses of personal nature.

Terms & Conditions of New Train Tour Tour Operator :

• Over Past Four Decades ,Palace on Wheels was operated by Tourism Dept of Rajasthan State Govt ( RTDC) ,but has been Privatized for Sept 2023 Onwards Departs
• The New Train Tour Operator ( Joint Collaboration of Cube Construction & Easy Toll Solutions) has amended Booking Terms & Cancellation Rules for Exiting & New Bookings

Amended – Palace On Wheels Booking Procedure :

• Clarify if you are Indian National Or Foreign Passport Holder
• Advice depart dates with number of persons & cabin type required to Check Availability
• In case of children< 12 years travelling with you , We also require their Date of Birth .
• To Process Booking ,we require Passport Copies of all Passengers
• Booking will be confirmed on receipt of MINIMUM 40% of Published Ticket value (inclusive taxes) as advance deposit.
• Balance payment must reach us before 65 days before tour depart
• If Booking request made less than 65 days prior to tour depart,-we require One Time Full Payment to confirm Booking
• Saloon/cabin Allocation will only be made at time of Check-In at Railway Station .
• Travel Kit & e-ticket will be forwarded on receipt from Train Tour Operator
• We at Colourful Indian Holidays are governed by Amended Tariff & Booking Terms of New Train Operator – even for Bookings-for which Advance has already been received
• In case of Further Changes made in Tariff Or Taxes made by Train Tour Operator- ,Guest is liable to Pay the same.

Cancellation Terms of Palace on Wheels

• Palace on Wheels Train Tour is being Now operated by Joint Consortium of M/S Easy Toll & Cube Contruction Ltd ,instead of Tourism Dept of Rajasthan State Govt (RTDC)
• All Cancellation requests must be made in writing & acknowledged by us
• Minimum 20% Cancellation Fee on Published Ticket Value (inclusive Taxes) if request received more than 92 Days prior to Tour Depart
• Minimum 25% Cancellation Fee on Published Ticket Value (inclusive Taxes) if request received between 91 to 77 Days Prior to Tour Depart
• Minimum 30% Cancellation Fee on Published Ticket Value (inclusive Taxes) if request received between 76 to 62 Days Prior to Tour Depart
• No Refund is permitted if Cancellation Request is received less than 62 Days Prior to Tour Depart
• In case of Failure to make Balance Payment more than 65 days before depart-Entire Advance Paid stands forfeited
• In case Scheduled Depart Cancelled by Train Tour Operator for whatsover reason,-They are liable to make full refund of advance Paid for booking Train Ticket of Palace on Wheels Train Tour (without any additional liability to compensate Client for any other claims for financial loss Or mental harrasement suffered etc)
• Request for Change in Name of Passenger Or Journey will be treated as cancellation & governed by Cancellation Rules
• Train tour will Operate Subject to Booking of Minimum Fifteen Cabins
• Train Tour Operator Reserves the Right to Amend Tariff , Booking Terms & Cancellation Rules at Short Notice
• In case of Request for Cancellation /Postponement due to Medical Emergency etc – –Your Request (with supporting documents) will be forwarded to Train
• Tour Operator & decision of their Management will be final

IMPORTANT :

• Overseas guests are requests to pre-purchase Tour Insurance from country of origin of travel
• Maximum liability of Colourful Indian Holidays is limited to that of booking agent only.
• Disputes (if any) are subject to jurisdiction of courts of Jaipur (India) only.
